                  Reading the diary of a young girl by Anne Frank is a pleasing experience. Second World War has always fascinated me, for its inhuman wars to some examples of blooming humanity, from its number of deaths to the stories of survival and from ‘thousand year Reich’ rant to ‘we will fight on beaches’ rhetoric. It was perhaps the most difficult period for a man to walk on earth in the history of human existence. Anne Frank’s diary is another great story of war era, despite its ending in tragedy as we know today; it reminds us of Anne’s presence here around us today.   Because what I know now about the diary is its not a great piece of art because it has an account of life in second world war, but also for the literary excellence shown by a thirteen year old girl, who tells us her story of life in hiding, a life of a Jew, and makes it so interesting as you almost reach to those streets of Amsterdam and feel it.               छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज आणि छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज ही मराठी माणसाच्या स्वाभीमानाची आणि गर्वाची दोन अग्रं आहेत. 'छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज की' म्हटलं कि 'जय!' असं ज्याच्या तोंडातून आपोआप बाहेर येतं तो 'मराठी' माणूस. अशी एक सोपी मराठी माणसाची व्याख्या काही वर्षांपूर्वी एका बड्या नेत्याने केली होती जी खरीही आहे. शिवाजी आणि संभाजी महाराज हा महाराष्ट्राच्या मनावर आपोआप होत जाणारा संस्कार आहे. त्यांच्यावर प्रेम करायला कुणाला शिकवायला लागत नाही,ना त्यासाठी इतिहासाची पुस्तकं वाचावी लागतात, आपोआप प्रेम जडत जाते. आणि आज एकविसाव्या शतकातही लाखो करोडो जनतेने त्यांना देवत्वाच्याही वर नेवून ठेवले आहे.
